An Indonesian artist couple will showcase their latest gold jewellery and artwork at an exhibition in Bali later this week.

The Timeless Change display by Adrian and Runi Palar - who have been married for 42 years - will begin at the Four Seasons Resort in Jimbaran Bay on Thursday (November 5th) and run until December 7th.

Mr Palar's offerings will include 26 paintings consisting of vertical and horizontal lines, while Mrs Palar's exhibits will include about 40 specimens of "curvy" gold and other jewellery that contrasts sharply with her husband's straight-lined pieces, the Jakarta Post reports.

Among the nature-inspired jewellery on display will be rings, earrings, brooches, necklaces and chokers.

Mrs Palar first began designing gold jewellery in 1968 and is notable for having broken from the traditions surrounding jewellery design in the Kotagede and Yogyakarta areas of Indonesia.

She has previously exhibited her creations at events in countries such as Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the US, Canada and Japan.
