Thursday, 23rd July 2009 (924 views) Links of London co-founder Annoushka Ducas's jewellery designs contain some "treats" for fans of gold, according to one writer.Ms Ducas came up with some of the iconic pieces that helped to make the Links of London brand a success in the 1990s and, along with her husband John Ayton, sold the business in 2006. Now the designer is preparing to launch a range of jewellery under the Annoushka brand at her new flagship store in Harvey Nichols, London on July 29th, including a line of custom gold rings that Times columnist and fashion expert Lucia Van Der Post describes as "opulent". The rings, part of the new Chameleon range, can be mounted with several different stones, with 1,500 possible combinations available in total. Ms Van Der Post goes on to recommend other 18-c gold rings from Ms Ducas's Eclipse collection, which "can be bought singly then added to through the years to make a gorgeous stacking collection". Vogue magazine describes the Chameleon range as "a truly unique collection". Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty and House of Fraser will be among the other department stores that will sell the new pieces.
