Wednesday, 22nd July 2009 (1069 views) A new range of gold jewellery inspired by Queen Elizabeth I has been launched in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by Italian designer Luca Carati.The Elizabeth collection is based on the typical lace-style designs worn by the monarch and includes features such as ultra-fine gold netting and intricate geometrical details. Necklaces, dangling earrings and rings studded with diamonds make up the new collection, according to Fibre2fashion. Luca Carati partner Emiliana Caprioglio said: "The jewellery of Luca Carati is the result of the immense talent of our goldsmiths, age-old manual techniques and the newest technologies available in the world." The new pieces can be purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue, Damas Les Exclusives Boutiques and a number of other stores across the UAE. Luca Carati was established in 1988 in Valenza, Italy. The brand's other jewellery collections include the Decor, Clouds, Ginza and Versailles ranges and are inspired by elements of nature interpreted in a contemporary fashion.
