An established Indian jeweller is set to launch a new range of gold jewellery and watches to tempt consumers back into buying such luxury pieces again.

KT Group, which is headquartered in Mumbai and has been operating for over a century, will sell a new collection of gold pieces called Arma, which will include pendants, earrings and rings made from 18-c gold and other materials.

A new line of high-end gold watches, Juno Monetaa, will additionally be unveiled by KT Group at the India International Jewellery Show next month.

About 500 retail outlets will sell the range by 2011, KT Group chief operating officer Tejas Soni told the Hindu Business Line.

He added that the new jewellery is of a design that is currently "in great demand" in Italy.

The India International Jewellery Show will take place between August 6th and 10th in Mumbai and is organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council.
