American actress Vanessa Hudgens has been praised for wearing a gold pendant more than once.

FirstwaterNews stated that her decision to sport the 18-c gold item sends an important message to fans, suggesting it is acceptable to be seen wearing something multiple times.

The news source noted that the Icon pendant appears to be a favourite of the High School Musical star, who was pictured with it at the MTV Movie Awards.

She also sported it at the LG Rumorous event, as well as while in casual attire in California.

The 18-c gold knot medallion is from H. Stern's Diane von Furstenberg collection and is valued at $2,800 (£1,720).

Actress Eva Mendes recently launched a new charity bracelet from Cartier in New York.

The piece features two 18-c gold rings joined by a coloured cord and $150 from the sale of each one is to be donated to children's charities.
