A range of gold jewellery created by Italian brand Calgaro has been described as "mesmerising".

The collection, dubbed Perfect, includes necklaces, rings and bracelets made from 18-c gold, fibre2fashion noted.

According to the portal, each of the pieces has a "timeless beauty" that pays tribute to Japanese aesthetics and is ideal for the red carpet.

Giuseppe Calgaro, president and co-founder of Calgaro, explained that the company has won a pair of Golden Virtuosi International Jewellery Design Awards and that the Perfect collection emphasises its design ability.

"As one of the youngest jewellery brands, Calgaro has captured the imagination of style-conscious individuals across the world," he was quoted as saying.

The brand recently launched its Soleil collection, with fibre2fashion stating that a handmade 18-c gold necklace was included, featuring a "lavish design of hypnotic solar rings".

Mr Calgaro stated that it pays tribute to the sun and is intended to recall the "mystery and wonder" of nature.
