Monday, 15th June 2009 (1055 views) A jeweller who creates gold pieces in his basement has revealed how the internet is allowing him to offer his products worldwide.Chris Graham told the Sioux City Journal that he makes items such as bracelets, necklaces and rings in his home in the US state of Iowa. As founder, designer and metalsmith for Circle Jewelry, he launched a website six years ago and recently expanded into the Japanese market. "With the internet, I can sell worldwide from right in the middle of Iowa," Mr Graham was quoted as saying. He added that he is beginning to add more gold jewellery to the collection, with the value of items ranging from $500 (£307) up to $7,500. Last week, another US-based jewellery designer announced that she was launching a new website in order to offer her pieces for a sale to a wider audience. Debra Hertz of Louisiana made the move after establishing the Dare to be Different range several years ago.
