Friday, 12th June 2009 (1873 views) Cartier has released a new piece of charity jewellery, with Eva Mendes promoting it at the launch.The actress appeared in New York sporting the Love Charity bracelet, which features two 18-c gold rings joined by a coloured cord. Cartier is donating $150 (£91) from the sale of each piece to children's charities, with a total of 24 set to receive some of the share. One of those is The Art of Elysium, with which Mendes is involved. The organisation encourages actors and musicians to volunteer their time for children with serious medical conditions and she remarked: "It's so emotional to see the growth and results [of the children]." Meanwhile, Gladstone Jewellery revealed that it has donated an 18-c gold brooch to a charity auction in the UK. The piece was sold during the Coutts London Jewellery Week, with St John Ambulance and the Lord's Taverners Charity set to benefit from the proceeds.
