A collection of jewellery inspired by Indian tribal culture has been hailed by experts.

The Indian Express reports that a positive reaction was seen when the pieces were launched by Jetha Bhai Zaveri at a jewellery show in the country last week.

Hemant Sagar of Lecoanet Hemant said he was "enthralled by the tribal influences", while designer Aparna Gujral stated that the necklaces in the range were "innovative and striking".

A gold claw necklace that "clung snugly to the collarbone" was described by the news provider as a highlight, while a gold dragon necklace was also considered to be one of the most attractive pieces.

The show itself was in keeping with the theme, with tribal music and drum rolls accompanying the models.

Meanwhile, retailer HSN in the US has announced that it is to begin offering a new range of jewellery by Carol Brodie.

The designer has previously worked with Oscar-winning actresses such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Halle Berry.
