Thursday, 4th June 2009 (1240 views) A woman who lost a precious gold bracelet has expressed her joy at having it returned to her.Lorraine Maciboric contacted Winnipeg Free Press columnist Gordon Sinclair to ask him to make an appeal over the item. He noted that she was particularly distressed because the bracelet was a 25th wedding anniversary gift from her husband, but he advised her to post a notice in the classifieds section. Four days after it first appeared, a man contacted Ms Maciboric to inform her he had found the piece. "I'm so happy," she told Mr Sinclair, adding: "I have so much gratitude for that man I could fly." She said that she had given the man a reward for finding the bracelet, which was presented to her during a Caribbean cruise last winter. A man in New Zealand is planning a treasure hunt to give away a gold engagement ring this weekend, after the woman he proposed to turned him down.
