Wednesday, 3rd June 2009 (1083 views) A man rejected by the woman he proposed to is offering the chance to win his gold ring.The piece of jewellery is to be hidden in Wellington, New Zealand this Saturday (June 6th). Anthony Gardiner explained that he is going to post clues as to its whereabouts using his Twitter account, having opted against selling the ring or using it again. It was bought in Hong Kong for NZ$5,000 (£1,950) and Mr Gardiner is to begin providing hints at 08:00 local time. "I met this girl I thought was pretty cool, bought a ring ... turns out she wasn't as keen," he told the Wellington Post, adding that he hopes it brings better fortune to whoever finds it. Bob Mack of Rochester, Minnesota recently learned that his missing gold wedding ring had been discovered in an African hospital. The item slipped off his finger while he was packing supplies to be sent to Guinea, but was discovered when the shipment arrived a number of weeks later.
