A new range of 18-c gold jewellery has been unveiled in the US by Pandora.

The Danish company launched the range at the 2009 Las Vegas Jewelry Show, introducing the products to North America after a European debut last year.

Dubbed LovePods, the line includes gold rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

Jody Christian of Pandora said of the range: "Our inspiration for LovePods came from shapes found in nature, especially the structure of flower pods with beautiful curves and rich bursts of colour."

Each of the pieces has been handmade and the company, which has been producing jewellery for more than 25 years, noted that they make an "elegant statement".

JCK Las Vegas opened on Saturday (May 30th) and runs until tomorrow (June 1st).

More than 2,600 exhibitors are taking part - including some that only exhibit at the show - while over 20,000 professionals from the jewellery industry will be in attendance.
