Surya Golds has created a new jewellery range and unveiled the collection during an exclusive fashion show at the Taj Palace in Delhi.

The Mumbai-based company has combined Swarovski elements with gold, using "sophisticated technology" and in-house teams to keep quality high, JCK India reports.

Surya Golds director Ramesh Shoor told the news source that the range has "given designers an opportunity to express themselves through a dazzling selection of jewellery, capable of bringing creative visions to life".

Leading Indian models Nethra Raghuraman, Krishna Somani, Indrani Dasgupta, Tina Chatwal and Miss India 2009 Pooja Chopra all took part in the fashion show to launch the collection.

Surya Golds was founded in Jalandhar in the Punjab state by Naresh Shoor and has expanded over the past two decades to become a leading jewellery manufacturer, now employing around 400 people.

In related news, Zoya by Tanishq has launched a new collection, Miasma, from Raghavendra Rathore that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary designs.
