Carrera Y Carrera has launched a range of pieces from its Ava, Sol Y Sombra and Te Quiero gold jewellery lines as the Big Secret collection.

According to the Spanish company, the range features the highlights of its handmade 18-c gold items, designed to pay tribute to Hollywood icon Ava Gardner.

Actress Gardner often visited Spain, living in Madrid for several years during the 1950s and Carrera Y Carrera described the jewellery as "the outcome of Spanish passion, daring imagination and flawless workmanship".

Nathalie Guedj, the company's chief executive, claimed that the Big Secret pieces "capture the diva's love for life and are sure to resonate with the aspirations of all proud, independent and individualistic women".

Carrera Y Carrera collections are available from the firm's boutique in the Mall of the Emirates and a number of Damas Les Exclusives Boutiques in Dubai.

In related news, Australian company Equss Jewellery has chosen the Sunset Mall in the emirate to establish a new boutique, real estate developer Dubai Investment Properties reported.
