Aromajewels has created a new 18-c range of designer jewellery that incorporates a drop of fragrance inside gems for a 'time release' evaporation effect.

Designed by Kendra Grace, an artisan perfumer and jewellery specialist, the collection combines gold and aromatherapy to "envelop users in an unforgettable scent".

Brazilian-born Ms Grace has used more than 20 years of experience in aromatherapy to create therapeutic natural essential oils and perfumes to reduce stress and promote health and wellbeing.

"The therapeutic calming and stimulating quality of essential oils is qualified and magnified by the properties of crystals and gemstones," she explained.

In related news, Pandora Jewelry has appointed a new travel retail director to market its gold collection and is planning to target the sector with its "unique take on the charm bracelet", according to the Moodie Report.

The Danish jeweller has created a series of gold chains and a range of around 500 screw-around charms.
