Stefan Hafner has announced the launch of a new 18-c gold jewellery collection in Dubai that includes chandelier earrings, rings and necklaces.

The Italian jewellery house claims that its Rugiada collection was inspired by the "effervescent, transient beauty of dewdrops".

Stefan Hafner combines movement and craftsmanship in order to capture the imagery of dewdrops with white gold and diamonds.

Tawhid Abdullah, Damas Jewellery managing director, said: "Stefan Hafner is a brand whose creations have rightly been acclaimed as 'jewels of joy'. Its new Rugiada collection is in perfect sync with this vision."

Stefan Hafner was founded in Bologna, Italy in 1967 and has won a series of top industry awards for its unique designs, which combine the skills of traditional goldsmiths with other artisans.

In other news, thousands of visitors attended the MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show which took place in Sharjah last week and showcased fine gold jewellery from around the world.
