Wednesday, 8th April 2009 (1620 views) Wyler Geneve has launched a new 18-c gold timepiece at the Baselworld 2009 watch and jewellery show. The Code-S chronograph is part of a collection of watches debuting at the fair, which includes a series of 17 different models. More than half of the new range is described as having "a resolutely feminine character" and the firm has taken its familiar tonneau case, reduced its size and rounded its lines. Each Code-S timepiece features the Wyler Geneve patented crown protector and engraving, with a variety of options available for both men and women in gold. The company opted for its existing Swiss-made automatic chronograph movement to power the Code-S and all models are fitted with a foldover clasp that is buckled in gold for gold models. Baselworld 2009 took place over eight days and attracted international watch and jewellery names, with 1,952 exhibitors from 45 countries in attendance.
