Wednesday, 8th April 2009 (1930 views) Tiffany Watch Co has made its debut at the Baselworld 2009 fair, with a collection of timepieces that includes a number of gold items.The new firm is a joint initiative between international jewellery house Tiffany & Co and watch specialist Swatch. Founded in January 2008, the Tiffany Watch Co collection features new and revisited designs such as the gold ladies' Atlas Cocktail model. The 18-c white gold Cocktail Oval has an elongated case and vintage styling, while the 18-c red gold Atlas Lady is set with diamonds and has a round dial with large Roman numerals. Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the range of high-end luxury watches showcases the respective skills of both Swatch and Tiffany & Co. Meanwhile, a gold watch thought to have been made for King Ludwig II of Bavaria is in a spring sale of timepieces taking place in Geneva next month with an estimated sale price of CHF30,000-50,000 (£17,870-£29,780).
