Wednesday, 8th April 2009 (1547 views) A range of jewellery specially designed for men by De Beers includes a number of gold pieces, it has been announced.The Burning Rocks collection by Stephen Webster features 22 pieces made from the precious metal and "illustrates masculinity and rugged appeal" and is available in the United Arab Emirates, Eye for Dubai reports. Meanwhile, the Talisman range reflects symbols worn for luck and protection, with strong patterns and organic shapes. Established in 2001, De Beers Diamond Jewellers is an independently managed and operated joint venture between mining and marketing firm De Beers and luxury goods company LVMH Moet Henessy Louis Vuitton. The jeweller now has over 30 stores worldwide in locations including London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and Dubai and the first De Beers collection for men was launched by Stephen Webster in 2007. In other news, Damas has launched grand promotional scheme to mark the Hindu festival Akshaya Tritiya at its 22-c gold boutiques in Dubai.
