Rose gold has been used in the latest executive watch design from Swiss company Ulysee Nardin.

Part of the Dual Time collection, the new model is enclosed in a 43mm rose gold case and also boasts 18-c rose gold deployant buckles, ViaLuxe reports.

The face of the Ulysse Nardin Executive Dual Time watch is completed by roman numerals and a rectangular track minutes frame, as well as chiselled-shaped minute and hour hands.

Yesterday, Retail Jeweller reported that a number of rare gold watches are to be auctioned in Geneva next month.

The event - which takes place at the Beau-Rivage Hotel on May 10th - will see several vintage pocket watches up for sale, as well a gold Monoblock Rolex model dating back to 1950.

A Patek Philippe perpetual calendar gold watch is also set to go under the hammer and has been estimated by Sotheby's to be worth €260,000 (£238,000).
