Thursday, 19th March 2009 (1828 views) A gold ring once owned by Elvis Presley is part of a sale of memorabilia connected to the star on sale later this month.The gold ring, shaped like an owl and set with diamonds, will go under the hammer on March 25th 2009 along with a host of other items connected with the King. Objects among the more than 500 pieces of memorabilia in the online sale by Gotta Have It Collectibles include a sky blue jumpsuit and cape with gold lining worn at a Madison Square Gardens concert, a gold bracelet and a grand piano played by Elvis at Graceland. Peter Siegel, a representative of the auctioneer, said: "There is a huge, huge following for Elvis and there always will be. He was larger than life." In other news, an Aston Martin DB7 painted with 24-c gold and once owned by Italian Prince Rupoli was sold in the UK earlier this month.
