Wednesday, 18th March 2009 (2172 views) A new gold jewellery and paintings collection by artist Yogendra Sethi has gone on display at the National Arts Club.The collection of unique pieces will be on show at the gallery in New York until March 25th 2009 and has attracted leading names in the art and jewellery world, according to Diamond World. Inspired by nature, Sethi used 18-c pink, white and yellow gold and gems to create 12 individual pieces of jewellery. He explains on his website: "Life is a rainbow, the more colour you infuse the more you enjoy it. What is imperative is how every subsequent effort transcends the other." Hailing from Indore in central India, Sethi started work as a jewellery designer in 1976 and combines it with his love of painting. In other news, ScandiCouture has unveiled a new online jewellery concept offering designer items handmade by Joseph Williams to customers around the world.
