Monday, 9th March 2009 (1634 views) Viola 18k Gold Jewellery has launched a new collection as part of its International Women's Day celebrations.A range of 18-c yellow and white gold items inspired by recent global trends were on show at an event at Tetsuma's Palette Night, JCK India reports. Jewellery made by the company costs between 5,000 rupees (£70) and 40,000 rupees. Fashion designer Narendra Kumar and jewellery maker Bina Goenka were among those at the event, which was hosted by the partners of Viola, Sanjeev Mathur and Ariez Tata. Explaining where the name of the company originates, Mr Mathur stated: "We wanted a name that signifies a palette of sensuous hues that bring out every woman's individual style." Recently, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt presented the daughter of Ukrainian prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko with a gold necklace for her birthday, the Indo-Asian News Service reported. Yevhenia Tymoshenko is reported to be a fan of Mr Dutt's work and has previously had dinner at his home in Mumbai.
