A leading Bollywood actor has presented the daughter of the Ukranian prime minister, a fan of his work, with a gold necklace to mark her birthday.

Yevhenia, daughter of Yulia Tymoshenko, went for dinner at Sanjay and Maanyata Dutt's home in Pali Hill, Mumbai, the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) reported.

Mr Dutt borrowed a private plane to fly from Patna to Delhi for the dinner last month with the 29-year-old politician's daughter on her birthday.

'There was no way Sanju would disappoint a fan and that too one who had come to India representing her mother from another country," a source told IANS.

Maanyata presented Yevhenia with a gold necklace from the couple for her birthday and a cake was delivered for her to cut.

In other news, Swiss watchmaker Longines presented a new gold watch to Chinese film star Aaron Kwok at the Berlin Film Festival last month as part of his role as an ambassador for the firm, according to the Moodie Report.
