Monday, 19th January 2009 (1576 views) Gold jewellery companies are expected to display their wares at the 16th Amberif International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones in Poland this year.Taking place between March 11th and 14th at the exhibition halls of the Gdansk International Fair Company, the show will feature over 450 exhibitors from nine countries. Thousands of visitors from around the world are predicted to attend the event, which showcases innovation and unique design approaches in gold and other jewellery. Hall Five, the Gold Hall, will be dedicated to gold and silver jewellery, while museums, trade organisations and schools will all be in attendance and competitions will take place during the course of the show. Gold watches, clocks and other items will also be featured and seminars, including a session on Polish Goldsmithing, have been organised. A total of 9,176 people attended last year's fair and the event, run by the Gdansk International Fair Company, is the major jewellery show in central and eastern Europe.
