Tuesday, 13th January 2009 (1768 views) Cygnus has announced the launch of its new 2009 Valentine collection.Featuring earrings, necklaces, pendants, bangles and bracelets, each piece in the new line has been crafted in 18-c gold, Diamond World reported. According to Cygnus, the collection is priced from R55,000 (£756) and will be available from prominent stores in Mumbai and Delhi. Part of Laxmi Dia Jewel and based in India, the Cygnus brand was launched in February 2003 and has a number of outlets and showrooms across the country. Cygnus unveiled an 18-c and 22-c yellow and white gold wedding collection in November last year. Meanwhile, Indian firm Tanishq has unveiled a new 18-c and 22-c jewellery range, Blush, targeted at fashion-conscious, young, professional females. Featuring contemporary designs, the new line is designed to enhance the fashion credentials of gold and will be available at Tanishq stores across India, the head of the firm's design studio Sangeeta Dewan has stated.
