Cameron Diaz has reportedly given her close friend Drew Barrymore an 18-c rose gold Rolex Oyster watch.

According to Rolex specialist Melrose Jewelers, the watch had 'I love you' engraved on the case and had originally been purchased by actress Diaz as a gift for her musician boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

However, the two stars broke up before she had a chance to present it to Timberlake and having held onto the $12,000 (£8,200) vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch for almost a year, Diaz has now given it to Charlie's Angel co-star Barrymore on her 32nd birthday.

Meanwhile, the Melrose Jewelers Rolex Watch Blog has reported that the French Open champion Ana Ivanovic has signed a new endorsement contract with Rolex.

Under the terms of the deal, the tennis star selected a gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust as her signature model and stated that she was "very happy to be partnering with Rolex".
