A new blog has been launched, designed to provide information about Italian gold jewellery.

Italian jewellery and fashion advocate Janice Schuh has teamed up with domain name firm Neekam to create the site, in order to help those shopping online.

The Italian Leather Handbags Jewellery Blog will discuss a number of subjects, including gold items.

Ms Schuh explained that Italian jewellery is "revolutionary", adding: "They came up with these large gold earrings that are actually hollow. They give the look of being big and heavy earrings, but in fact they are very light."

The blog is set to offer news, information and advice about all manner of jewellery from the country, with a particular focus on 18-carat gold items.

It follows the launch last month of a blog dedicated to Rolex watches.

Created by Melrose Jewellers, the site features articles about various celebrities sporting gold timepieces.
