Tanishq has announced the launch of a series of modern jewellery designs entitled Aria.

The new 18-c gold jewellery range is endorsed by actress Asin and has been inspired by a traditional floral and petal arrangement.

Featuring necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings, nose rings and bangles, the high-end collection consists of around 300 pieces designed in-house.

Sangeeta Dewan, head of the Tanishq Design Studio, explained: "The collection has been designed keeping in mind the woman who is deeply proud of her roots and sees herself as one with refined taste."

India's national jeweller, Tanishq has 115 boutiques in more than 75 cities selling 18-c and 22-c jewellery.

Dubai-based jeweler Damas recently launched a new gold jewellery range for children called Fulla, which means 'flower' in Arabic.

The 18-c range is targeted at young girls and includes fine three-piece sets of pendant chain, earrings and ring, brooches and bracelets.
