Solid gold 'broken heart' pendant among new collection

Thursday, 11th September 2008 (1136 views)

Designer and retailer JewelryButJewelry has unveiled its 2008 collection, featuring a range of gold products.

The company specialises in fashion pieces, including body, bridal and art jewellery.

Among the new range is a 14-c solid gold necklace designed to dress up a casual outfit or complement evening wear.

A two-piece "broken heart" pendant has been released, the intention being for customers to share it with "someone special".

Finally, a men's identity bracelet completes the set, meshed in 14-c gold.

Several of the pieces are being sold exclusively on the company website and more designs are anticipated to add to the collection throughout the year.

Meanwhile, David Bennett, the chairman of Sotheby's Jewellery in Europe and the Middle East, stated that period jewellery has become increasingly collectible over the past decade, according to the Times of India.

He added that "great examples of period jewellery are now considered fine examples of art".
