Tiffany & Co has unveiled its new Somerset collection, to be available in the firm's boutiques in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

It features contemporary gold earrings, necklaces, rings and cuffs in yellow and rose colour.

In addition, some pieces are adorned with a micro-knit mesh of white and yellow gold to create a "perfect tactile quality".

Pegah Goldooz, the general manager of Tiffany & Co in the United Arab Emirates, said that the new range demonstrated the wide possibilities of using only precious metals to craft jewels.

"I am confident that fans of Tiffany across the country will be thrilled by these new offerings", he commented.

He added: "Fashion this season is defined by streamlined forms."

The multi-national jeweller recently announced that in the second quarter of this year, strong growth in the Europe and Asia-Pacific areas had led to an 11 per cent increase in worldwide net sales.
