Peaches Geldof announced yesterday she has married her boyfriend of one month in a Las Vegas ceremony, according to the Sun.

The daughter of musician and activist Bob Geldof has been dating American musician Max Drummey since the iTunes Festival last month at which Ms Geldof was a presenter, although they apparently met last year.

Avoiding traditional trends, Ms Geldoff has been sporting a large, chunky gold ring on her wedding finger.

Elle magazine said the 19-year-old was wearing a white cotton dress while her 23-year-old husband - from the band Chester French - wore a blue shirt, jeans and a pair of sunglasses.

Reverend Fabretti, who performed the wedding ceremony at the Little White Chapel in the gambling city, told the Sun: "They looked very happy together.

"I remember the bride looked very young and pale and quite angelic."

Last month it was reported Geldof's daughter needed treatment from paramedics after a suspected drugs overdose. She did not require hospitalisation.
