Gold watch receives mixed reviewsThe news feeds on this site are independently provided by Adfero Limited © and do not represent the views or opinions of the World Gold Council. Tuesday, 5th August 2008 (2087 views) A gadget website has issued a review of the new Hysek Colosso wristwatch which comes complete with a three dimensional spinning globe.T3 said the limited edition model is available in white gold and rose gold and comes complete with 62 jewels. The website was not too impressed with the watch, saying that "Titanic" would have been another appropriate name for it. According to the T3 review, the watch may be the perfect present for a business person who is "so bored in board meetings that he's gone well beyond timing how long he can hold his breath and watching the second hand for microscopic imperfections that he needs something considerably more ambitious". Each of the timepieces - which are also transparent so owners can see the inner workings of the design - costs $550,000 (£281,420). In contrast, a review from tech site SlipperyBrick said the price tag of the watch was completely justified. In other news, the Hysek brand will be celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
