ALO Jewelry has announced it is to unveil the most expensive jewel ever made in the Czech Republic, reports the Prague Daily Monitor.

The gold ring will be revealed this October and is set to cost CZK 30 million (£993,653).

Owner of the Czech company, Alojz Rysavy, said the ring will be presented with model Petra Nemcova at jewellery fair in Prague.

He commented that there has been a rise in demand for luxurious jewellery.

Michaela Jetmarova, marketing director of jewellery company Dusak - which distributes jewels produced both locally and abroad - said: "The number of orders for exclusive jewellery is growing and the strengthening crown has encouraged Czech clientele to start investing money in luxurious jewellery gold."

Previously, the most expensive jewellery made in the country was a ring and earring set which cost CZK 3 million.

Apparently the most expensive ring in the world was given to Slovenian model Melania Knauss as an engagement ring from Donald Trump.

The ring is estimated to be worth $2 million (£1.01 million).
