Monday, 4th August 2008 (2028 views) Gold jewellery took centre stage at a recent fundraising event for the Facial Paralysis Foundation and Stop the Violence/Face the Music, reports Jewelers Circular Keystone Online.The poolside runway show exhibited swimwear collections from a host of designers including Plush Premium Denim, Christian LaCroix, Monique Leshman, Sea Queen and Gottex. The website said gold jewellery - as styled by Shaye Strager - was the "primary accessory for the show". Big earrings, gold link bracelets, statement cuffs or bangles adorned each model as she came down the catwalk. Gold jewellery designers who contributed pieces to the show included Barbara DOro, Carla Amorim, Charles Garnier, Coomi, Pamela Froman and Maya Jewels. Musician Dave Navarro, US television personality Kris Jenner and Disney actress Meaghan Jette Martin were among the celebrities drawn to the event. Stop the Violence/Face the Music is a campaign that uses the music industry to help get and keep kids out of violent environments, according to bcParent Online.
