Friday, 18th July 2008 (2262 views) International jeweller Fawaz Gruosi, founder and chief executive officer of de Grisogono, designed a pair of rings for his friend's wedding.Managing director of the Renault Formula One team, Flavio Briatore, is a close friend of the designer. For the wedding, Mr Gruosi created a ring of two overlapping 18-karat white gold bands for Mr Briatore, who is also joint owner of the Queens Park Rangers football club. In addition, for the racing manager's bride, Italian fashion model and TV presenter of Buona Domenica Elizabetta Gregoraci, the designer created a simple 18-karat white gold ring. The founder of de Grisogono gave the rings to the couple for free. In other news, de Grisogono is to open a second US boutique in a new retail and restaurant centre in Las Vegas which is called The Crystals. The Crystals is set to open in late 2009 and will cover 500,000 square feet. Other retailers set to open stores in the centre will be Louis Vuitton and Tiffany and Co.
