Harrods stocks luxury chocolateWednesday, 16th July 2008 (937 views) Harrods is to stock Lebanese chocolatier Patchi's latest creation.The luxury chocolate maker has created a range of chocolates with a matching box to suit Harrods' theme of the High Life. On top of each of the 49 handmade chocolates presented in the Grand Indulgence box will be adorned with either a flower made of gold and a crystal or a handmade silk rose. The box itself will be made of suede and each chocolate will be compartmentalised by gold and platinum dividers. "At Patchi, we have a philosophy of uncompromised quality and a pioneering spirit," said the chairman of Patchi Chocolates, Mr Nizar Choucair. "This box is aimed at customers who want to make a bold and memorable statement" From Harrods food hall, a spokesman said the Grand Indulgence box will suit chocolate lovers who care about presentation. Each box will cost £5,000 and will be available to be made to order from August 2008. Patchi has stores worldwide and new ones are set to open in Uzbakistan, Kuwait and Khubar this year.
