International jewellery house Damas is to launch its latest collection, according to a report in ameinfo.com.

The Spanish jewellery creator's Carrera y Carrera De Luces handcrafted collection is a matador-inspired selection of earrings, pendant chains, bracelets, rings and cufflinks in yellow and white gold.

The traditional outfit of Spanish bullfighters features in De Luces' three lines;
Ruedo, Pasodoble and Alamar, Damas' managing director Tawhid Abdullah told the website.

Ruedo and Pasodoble combine yellow gold combines with rose-cut diamonds in their selections and Alamar features fine gold and diamond jewellery with detailed setting.

Mr Abdullah added: "The jewels capture the rich and ornate splendour of this attire in pieces that will be treasured for all time."

Audrey Hepburn, Balenciaga, Meryl Streep, Victoria Beckham and Shakira are a few of Carrera y Carrera's famous customers.

The new collection will be sold at the Carrera y Carrera in Mall of the Emirates and Damas Les Exclusives Boutiques across the UAE, including the world's only seven-star hotel, the Burj Al Arab.

Damas was first created in 1907.
