Eurovision entry receives special gold jewelleryThursday, 15th May 2008 (886 views) Malta's entry into the Eurovision Song Contest is to receive an exclusive set of gold and diamond jewellery to wear during her stay in the competition's host country, Serbia, according to reports.The Malta Independent says Maltese company Classic Jewellers is providing the pieces as part of its annual tradition of supporting the island's Eurovision hopeful. This year, the company will support Morena with a collection of "versatile and casual" jewellery the singer can wear during the events held to celebrate Song for Europe week. Company director Steve French told the publication said the gold and diamond designs had been chosen to reflect and complement Morena's "fresh and youthful style". "Jewellery is very versatile and the selection we have presented to Morena is easily adaptable to the various events she will be participating in," he added. Morena was presented with the jewellery after returning from a promotional tour of her song, Vodka, which took in the United Kingdom, Ukraine and Latvia. The final of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Belgrade on May 24th.
