Monday, 14th April 2008 (3362 views) A move away from "bling" towards "classic" gold jewellery could be a trend this year after Italian jewellery house Bulgari unveiled its latest collection.According to the New Strait Times as quoted on redorbit.com, Bulgari has moved away from coloured stones designs with its latest pieces, which include wide gold bands, as well as gold necklaces and pendants. Included in the new collection is the new Monologo gold band. The ring is engraved with the Bulgari logo and is described as being "less showy than a huge cocktail ring but more interesting than your dainty classic". The ring comes in pink and white gold editions with diamonds, white, pink and yellow gold versions that include a diamond-encrusted logo and pure gold bands in white, pink and yellow gold varieties. Necklaces and pendants in the collection come in white gold with pave diamonds and yellow gold with mother of pearl. Complementary earrings and bracelets are also available in white and yellow gold. Bulgari was established in 1884 in Rome. It now has stores in Paris, London, New York, Tokyo and Dubai.
