Gold stars in Jewellery Channel's latest collectionThursday, 3rd April 2008 (814 views) A UK television channel is launching its own range of exclusively designed gold jewellery in response to the precious metal's continuing popularity with shoppers. The Jewellery Channel said the yellow metal is one of the most in-demand products featured on its live auction shows - and gold's enduring appeal prompted it to develop and launch its own collection - Iliana. According to the channel, which is based in Middlesex, Iliana's 18ct pieces were created by its in-house designer and hand-made at the station's dedicated factories. The Jewellery Channel also sourced the gold used in the production of the Iliana line directly from mines. The collection includes men's and women's gold rings, belly chains and ankle and wrist bracelets. Customers can also check the size of products such as rings with the Jewellery Channel's online guide, which is hosted on its website. Consumers will also be able to buy items from the Iliana line through the site, or by watching the channel's falling price auction shows. The Jewellery Channel broadcasts daily on UK satellite and digital channels.
