Over 20 special events, including seminars, cocktail parties and jewellery parades featuring gold, diamond and jade products, will help to mark the 25th anniversary of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, organisers have said.

The show, which is the third largest event of its kind in the world, is also set to break its exhibitor record this year, with 2,300 jewellers from 46 countries expected to showcase their products during the silver jubilee celebration.

In all, there will be 14 group pavilions at the show, featuring designs from China, Germany, India, Dubai and Italy.

Other pavilions will feature work from South Korea, Spain, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey and the United States.

Organisers say there will also be speeches from industry experts, including the renowned designer Lo Kai Yin, as well as seminars on the gold industry, market demand and secrets of design.

The show will take place between March 4th and March 8th.

Last year's event attracted over 2,180 exhibitors from 41 different countries.
