Eva Longoria Parker, star of TV hit Desperate Housewives, sported a solid gold mini dress at a recent event for New York's Fashion Week, according to reports.

Renowned celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton said the actress, whose film Over Her Dead Body is currently in the top ten at the UK box office, was spotted in the dress at the show for fashion designer Michael Kors.

Ms Longoria Parker shot to fame in 2004 as retired model Gabriella Solis in the US comedy drama Desperate Housewives.

According to the Associated Press, other celebrities in the crowd for the show included Sigourney Weaver, Natasha Richardson and Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane.

New York Fashion Week runs until February 8th.
