Singer Nelly Furtado has sent the rumour mill into overdrive after being spotted wearing a stunning gold wedding band on her ring finger recently.

The Maneater star has led people to believe that she has taken the plunge and secretly married her beau Demacio Castellon.

She announced in July this year that she had got engaged to the Cuban sound engineer, who worked on her massively successful Loose album.

The gold ring was apparently plain for all to see when she was at the Y100 Jingle Ball Christmas party in Miami, Florida at the weekend.

"She was so happy and there was no missing the gold band on her finger," a source said of the star.

The 29-year-old Canadian-born star's third album, Loose, was a huge hit when it was released last year, coming six years after the launch of her debut album Whoa, Nelly!, which included her breakthrough single, I'm Like a Bird.
