Hilary Swank wowed the crowds at her latest film premiere on Wednesday with a fine selection of gold jewellery.

The Oscar-winning actress was adorned with gold jewellery created by renowned French jeweller Boucheron.

She was attending the European premiere of her latest film, PS I Love You, in Dublin, although the weather was clearly less accommodating than the Hollywood actress is used to.

As she walked down the red carpet, wearing gold Yves Saint Lauren shoes to match her gold jewellery, the actress stopped to put her coat on, saying: "It is so cold."

Despite the weather, hundreds of Dubliners braved the conditions to see the star arrive for the premiere of the film, which was based on a book written by Cecelia Ahern, daughter of politician Bertie Ahern.

There were a wide variety of other stars on show at the premiere, with famous Irish faces such as Boyzone's Ronan Keating and designer John Rocha all putting in an appearance, although none were able to steal the limelight away from Hilary Swank and her beautiful gold jewellery.
