Gold cocktail for sale at London nightspotMonday, 10th December 2007 (2487 views) A drink thought to be the world's most expensive cocktail has been unveiled in a London nightclub in time for the Christmas holidays.The beverage, which contains edible flakes of 24-carat gold, is selling for £35,000 at Movida nightclub in the West End. Included in the price of the drink named the Flawless is a floorshow consisting of two security guards who stay with each client until the drink is finished and an 11-carat white diamond ring at the bottom of the crystal glass. It is mixed in front of each customer and advance orders are taken before each night begins. In addition to the edible gold, the drink contains half a bottle of Cristal Rose champage, Louis XII cognac, brown sugar and angostura bitters. According to the Guardian, the drink is described as "warming and refreshing". Movida, which is located on Argyll Street in Soho, is built inside the vaults of the London Palladium. Cited as an "epic nightclub" by outclubbing.com, Movida is frequented by stars such as Beyonce, Prince and Jordan.
