October festival celebrates gold jewelleryWednesday, 24th October 2007 (2653 views) Delhi-based PC Jewellers recently hosted a nine-day exhibition of gold jewellery and fashion in celebration of the upcoming marriage season, it has been reported.Held at the jewellery house's Karol Bagh showroom from October 12th to 20th, Shringaar 9 showcased Delhi's finest gold jewellery and trendy new styles and was attended by Indian celebrities, including film directors, models and television stars. "Gold jewellery is an integral part of India's tradition," said Aamna Sharif, star of Indian television serial Kahiin to Hoga, at the event. "Jewellery has been a symbol of prosperity and beauty," she added. A show of designer gold jewellery was presented to celebrate the marriage bond, with models sporting both traditional and contemporary designs. Amar Chand Garg, vice president of the jewellery company said that it is important to provide customers with an insight into emerging trends in gold accessories. "Every year we plan out something more unique to keep the excitement levels high. And in the festive season, Shringaar 9 is the kind of exhibition which brought customers here for their want of all kind of gold jewellery," he said.
