Gold-coated mobile phone adds bling to its ringWednesday, 3rd October 2007 (2545 views) Technology blog Slashgear has announced that a limited edition customised gold version of Nokia's flagship mobile handset has been created with only ten unique phones available for sale.Mobile technology and entertainment entrepreneur Alexander Amosu has designed the exclusive gold-coated Nokia N95 mobile phones, which retail on the designer's website at £12,000 apiece. Each of the limited edition handsets can be coated in a choice of 18-carat or white gold and will be engraved with a unique number from one to ten. Handsets can further be customised with personal engraved initials, according to the technology blog. Nokia's N95 mobile phone, which won the 2007 TIPA Award for Best Mobile Imagining Device in Europe, comes with a list of features including built-in GPS mapping, Bluetooth compatibility, video playback and four gigabytes of sound storage space. Designer Alexander Amosu offers a variety of gold-plated customised technology, including a range of mobile phones and Apple iPods.
