According to Sofia News Agency, roughly two kilos of the gold was wrapped in six packets hidden in the driver's cabin.

"[A] few hours later the border police discovered another 21,640 kilos of jewels in a secret box in a bus, moving from Istanbul to Skopje," commented the news agency.
