Tuesday, 7th August 2007 (5277 views) A jewellery company which gives part of the proceeds to charity and worthy causes has launched a new pearl and gold necklace for children.The freshwater pearl necklaces from Giving Pearls are approximately 12 inches in length and include 14-carat solid gold features. According to Giving Pearls, the gold and pearl necklaces are designed to fit petite ladies and children. GlamForLess.com recently reported that pearls were in the top five most desirable gifts for women. In other gold trend news, National Jeweller Network has reported that textured yellow gold was among the top trends at Feninjer, a jewellery show in Sao Paulo, South America. "Brazilian designers, who have long held an affinity for yellow gold, got creative with textures this year, offering a variety of pieces with gold finishes that were satiny smooth, hammered, etched with designs or some combination of all three," the jewellery news service reveals.
